Grades K-3 Outline
 
Language Arts
 
Hands-on phonics with sight word-reading, comprehension, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, sentence structure, parts of speech, dictionary skills, D'Nealian handwriting (manuscript and cursive), creative writing (including short stories), letter writing, poetry, listening, oral communication, and study skills.

Practical Life
 
Personal responsibilities, group decisions, food baskets/boxes as needed.

Practical Life
 
Pen pal in one of the seven continents. Adopt a class grandparent. Help a Kindergartener, first or second grader.
