We are still accepting applications for the 2008 - 2009 school year.
Thank you for your interest in Imagination School of Education. We not only prepare students for the future, but we prepare the whole student for life. Below you will find the steps necessary for enrollment.
Application (required all grades)
We accept applications for enrollment, accompanied by a non-refundable application fee, throughout the fall and winter for the next school year. A completed application, including all admission forms, must be received by
March 31, 2008; applications received later will be considered if an opening occurs.
Parent Questionnaire (required all grades) The Parent Questionnaire, to be completed by the applicant's parent or legal guardian, provides parents and guardians an opportunity to outline their educational goals for their child.
Student Statement(required 7th & 8th)
The Student Statement, to be completed by the applicant, helps the Admission Committee get to know the candidate and his or her own academic goals and interests. (See checklist below for printable forms.)
Teacher Reference Form(optional)
The Teacher Reference Forms are completed by each applicant's current teacher. Parents give the form to this teacher and request that the completed form be sent directly to the ISE. We suggest waiting until December before giving teachers the forms so they have time to get to know the applicant. It may be helpful to include a stamped envelope.
School Records(required K through 8th)
Please arrange for an official copy of your child's transcript to be sent to ISE by signing the Request for School Records Form and giving it to his or her current school. This form requests an official transcript of grades as well as results of academic testing.
Application Deadline All application files completed by
March 31, 2008 are included in our first round of admission decisions. Applications completed after this deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis if openings exist.
Assessment Process
In April, each candidate family with an application on file will receive a phone call to schedule an observation and interview time. Following this, the family participates in an interview with the school Directors, at which questions will be asked and answered.
Acceptance
All pieces of information, including available openings, are considered when making decisions about student acceptances. Families interested in making a long-term commitment to the school are given priority, along with ISE siblings. Families will be notified of the applicant's acceptance to ISE and obligation for registration and payment. A position is secured upon completion of the
Tuition Contact, the
Financial Agreement and a payment of the
non-refundable registration fee by the due date. Once a class reaches capacity enrollment, qualified applicants will be placed on a waiting list for any openings that may occur. ISE does not rank its waiting list.
Enrollment Contingency(Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten)
A child entering ISE must possess independent toilet skills by the first day of school.
